Our staff are amongst the most experienced, committed, and competent outdoor enthusiasts. The location, facilities, and specialist equipment here at TOPEC allow for us to provide experiences that exceed expectations.
School courses are created to meet classroom-needs and include; residential programmes, NCEA courses, the Duke of Edinburgh's Hillary Award and secondary-tertiary NZ Certificate courses are just some of the offerings available at TOPEC. There are also options for primary school residential, river or bush safety programmes; as well as private hiring of facilities.
Our centre is located on the banks of the Waiwhakaiho River, just outside of Ngamotu, New Plymouth, and is situated in an area that allows us to make the most of the taonga of Taranaki - the sea, rivers, bush and iconic Taranaki Maunga.
