With our facilities now at capacity, TOPEC faces growing demand. To continue delivering transformational outdoor education and leadership experiences, we need upgraded facilities that can support more learners, offer enhanced programmes, and remain a cornerstone of outdoor learning in the region.​​

In 2024, NP Partners, with the support of New Plymouth District Council (NPDC), committed to working alongside TOPEC to redevelop the centre. Central to this vision is the construction of a new community lodge – a space designed to welcome more people, enhance learning opportunities, and strengthen TOPEC’s ability to provide immersive outdoor experiences for decades to come.
